What is Halal Meat?
Similar to how the Jewish religion has their Kosher guidelines for food, the Islamic religion has their guidelines. Their guidelines are called Halal.
In order for meat to be considered Halal, the animal must be raised under the following conditions:
Not allowed: Antibiotics, Vaccines, GMO's, Soy, Chemicals.
They must be: Pastured, on a rotational grazing routine
The animal must also be butchered in a peaceful manner in order to prevent stress hormones from being released. The blood must also be completely drained from the animal.
