Aged approx 4-8 months. Our signature Cheddar smoked over apple wood for a more robust flavor. The hint of smoke makes this cheese ideal with cured meats, pickled vegetables and/or melted over a burger or in a grilled cheese sandwich.
Our Raw A2 milk is used to make delicious raw cheese by the local creamery "Alpine Heritage Creamery". The rest of the ingredients are simple - cultures, traditional rennet and salt.
Our cows are all tested for A2/A2 and are grass-fed only to provide you with delectable, creamy milk - cream on the top! Never pasteurized and never homogenized!
The cows at Buffalo Valley Pastures are exclusively grassfed. They get a mix of hay and alfalfa in the winter. Our mix of Guernsey and Jersey cows are sure to offer you a milk that is delicious, creamy, and high in healthy fat!
